Our Story

Founded simply as a way to celebrate the Sonoran Desert, educate visitors, and support local conservation organizations, Sonoran Trails emerged from a deep love for this remarkable region.  Our journey began with a simple idea; to create and share wearable works of art that capture the essence of the Sonoran Desert with the world. No matter how you choose to enjoy your time on the trails, our logo is intended to be a badge worn with a sense of pride.

Celebrating the Sonoran Desert

To say that this is a unique place would be an understatement. It is teeming with plants and animals found nowhere else on the planet, stunning landscapes, and a vibrant tapestry of cultures that have thrived here for centuries. We believe that celebrating this space is not only a lot of fun but also a huge responsibility.   Through our thoughtfully designed t-shirts, our aim is to capture the spirit of the desert, from its iconic saguaros to the breathtaking sunsets, and everything in between. Whether you enjoy spending every day in the desert, or are just visiting for the first time, we have something for you.

Education and Awareness

Our commitment to education runs deep. Many of our designs are more than just an artistic representation; they create an opportunity to learn. We infuse many of our products with facts, stories and insights about the Sonoran Desert’s ecology and history. Some however, simply represent you as a desert dweller. In addition, our storefront serves as a hub for links to tons useful information and local conservation groups.  You’re already an ambassador for desert knowledge and conservation; by wearing a Sonoran Trails tee shirt, you’re letting everyone know it.

Preservation is at the heart of what we do. We recognize that our unique corner of the world faces numerous ecological challenges. To offset the cost of dealing with these challenges, a portion of the profit of every purchase from Sonoran Trails goes directly to supporting local conservation organizations. These organizations are dedicated to safeguarding this precious ecosystem.
